Leadership and Empowerment: Course 1

Day 1 Content
The first day of this course will focus on the basics of leadership. Through group discussion, we will break down the meaning of leadership and address its common misconceptions. We will additionally discuss traits of a successful leader.
Day 2 Content
The second day of this course is dedicated to exploring the relationship between community and leadership. Students will be asked to reflect on the communities in which they belong to explore their role in creating change.
Day 3 Content
The third day of this course will examine the characteristics of good leadership. Through a series of case studies, students will engage in recognizing the significance of these characteristics and apply it to their lives.
Day 4 Content
The fourth and final day of the course is reserved for short final presentations. The final project will be explained in detail during the first day of class, leaving students three days to complete the assignment. Students are expected to present their projects to their peers.
